Site Superintendent – Condo, Commercial & Institutional Construction

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors on-site. The Site Superintendent will serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and will be responsible for maintaining safety, quality control, and adherence to project specifications.
Pay: CA$75,000.00-CA$100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily on-site operations, ensuring construction activities are executed efficiently and safely
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation
- Utilize construction management software such as Monday.com, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project scheduling, documentation, and communication
- Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets; implement corrective actions as needed
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Oversee safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel
- Prepare and review construction estimates, budgets, and change orders
- Ensure all work adheres to building codes, regulations, and client requirements
- Facilitate communication between clients, architects, engineers, and on-site teams
- Tooling is expected and required as necessary. You are to lead and teach your teammates.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety standards in construction environments

- Budgeting experience with the ability to monitor costs effectively
- Effective leadership skills with prior supervising experience on large-scale projects
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes for accurate project planning
